Privacy Policy

DuMore Apps Inc · Split Screen: AI Multitasking · Last updated 27 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use Split Screen: AI Multitasking (the "App", listed on the Apple App Store as "Split Screen Multitasking View" and published under the developer name Vishnu Rao, India) and the website dumoreapps.com (the "Site"). Both are operated by DuMore Apps Inc ("DuMore Apps", "we", "us", "our").

The short version, and the whole basis of how the App is built: we do not collect, store, sell, share or transmit your personal information. The App has no accounts, no logins, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Its artificial intelligence features run on your device. Your browsing, your notes and your workspaces stay on your iPhone or iPad. This is reflected in the App Store privacy label for the App, which reads "Data Not Collected".

It is still important for you to understand exactly how the App handles information, and what happens when you use the web or a third party service through it, so please read this Policy carefully.

1. Scope of this Privacy Policy

2. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may revise this Policy from time to time, for example when the App gains new features. The revised Policy will be published on this page with an updated date. Where a change is material, we will make it clear in the App's release notes so you can review it before continuing to use the App. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Policy.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Personal information

None. The App does not ask for and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, address, contacts, address book, photographs, identifiers or any other personal information. There is no registration, no account and no profile. We do not maintain a server that receives your personal information.

3.2 Usage, analytics and diagnostic information

None. The App contains no analytics software development kits, no advertising software development kits, no crash reporting services and no third party trackers. We do not measure how you use the App, and we receive no usage or diagnostic data from it.

3.3 Identifiers and tracking

None. The App does not access the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), does not build advertising or user profiles, does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and therefore never presents an App Tracking Transparency prompt. We do not participate in data brokerage of any kind.

3.4 Location

The App does not collect or store your location. Certain tools request location only when you use them and only after iOS asks you for permission, for example Maps for directions, Weather for a local forecast, or Flights for aircraft near you. In those cases your device passes the location to the relevant map or data provider solely to answer that request. It is not sent to us, not logged and not retained. You can withdraw the permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services, and the rest of the App keeps working.

3.5 Camera, photos, files, calendar, reminders and microphone

Some tools need access to a part of your device: the QR Scanner uses the camera, the Photos tool reads your library, Files browses on-device and iCloud documents, and Reminders and Calendar read and write your own items. Every one of these permissions is requested by iOS at the moment you first use that tool, is used entirely on your device to perform the task you asked for, and results in nothing being uploaded, copied or transmitted to us. Each permission can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.

3.6 Website information

The Site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds no third party trackers. The interactive demo on the home page stores a few preferences (theme, sound, position in the demo) in your browser's local storage; these never leave your browser and are erased when you clear your browsing data. Our hosting provider may retain standard, short lived server access logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamp) for security and capacity purposes, as substantially all web hosts do. Those logs are not used to identify you, are not combined with any other information, and are not shared.

4. Information that stays on your device

The App is useful because it remembers things. Everything it remembers is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad, inside the App's own sandbox, and is visible only to you:

Panes opened in Private mode write no history. If you enable iCloud sync, this information is synchronised through your own Apple Account into your private iCloud database, encrypted by Apple. We have no access to that database and no ability to read its contents. Deleting the App removes its local data from that device; iCloud copies can be removed in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

5. Artificial intelligence features

AI Summary, Reconcile, Live Translate and the answer field of the search bar all run on your device, using the on-device machine learning capabilities provided by Apple's operating system. The page being summarised, the two sources being reconciled, the text being translated and the question you type are processed locally. They are not sent to DuMore Apps, are not sent to a third party AI provider, and are not used to train any model. Because AI outputs can be wrong, please verify anything important; AI results are provided for convenience and not as professional advice.

6. Third party content, tools and services

The App is, among other things, a web browser. When you open a website in a pane, that website receives the information it would receive in any browser, such as your IP address, browser user agent and any cookies you allow it to set. The same is true for the web versions of social networks used in the Social Cube. Those interactions are between you and that website, governed by that website's privacy policy, and are outside our control.

Certain built in tools display live data from independent providers, for example weather forecasts, map tiles and directions, stock, crypto and currency rates, flight positions, sports scores, podcast and RSS feeds and encyclopaedia articles. When you open such a tool, your device makes a request directly to the relevant provider so it can return the data. We do not route these requests through our servers, do not log them and do not attach any identifier to them. We select providers that are appropriate for this purpose, and we require that any third party we work with handles data consistently with the protections described in this Policy. Their own policies apply to the request they receive.

The App includes tracker and content blocking features (Shield). These operate on your device and are designed to reduce, not increase, third party data collection while you browse.

7. How information is used

Because we do not collect your information, we do not use it for analytics, profiling, advertising, direct marketing, personalisation, model training or any other purpose. Information that stays on your device is used for one thing only: to make the App work as you asked, for example restoring the workspace you left open, filling in a Speed Dial, or summarising the article in front of you.

8. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, licence, trade or otherwise share your personal information, for the simple reason that we do not hold it. We have no advertising partners and no data partners. If we were ever compelled by a valid court order or lawful request from a competent authority to disclose information about a user, we would be unable to provide personal information, browsing history or content, because it is not in our possession. If the ownership of DuMore Apps Inc or of the App changes, this Policy continues to apply to information handled before the change, and any successor would be required to honour it or to notify you of a replacement policy before it takes effect.

9. Purchases

The App is sold as a single one time purchase through the Apple App Store. All payment, billing and refund processing is performed by Apple. We never see, receive or store your payment card details, billing address or Apple Account credentials. Apple's handling of that information is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy. Restoring a purchase is handled by Apple against your Apple Account, and requires no information from you to us.

10. Children

The App is rated 17+ on the App Store because it provides unrestricted access to the web, and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). The App includes parental controls, such as Child Lock, site whitelists and content filters, which operate entirely on the device. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will investigate promptly, although in practice there is nothing for us to hold.

11. Security

The strongest security measure available is not to collect data in the first place, and that is the approach the App takes. In addition, the App runs inside Apple's application sandbox, uses HTTPS for network requests where the destination supports it, and relies on the device's own protections, such as your passcode, Face ID or Touch ID and iOS file encryption, to protect data at rest. iCloud synchronisation, if you enable it, is encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but no personal information of yours is held on any server we operate.

12. Retention and deletion

We retain no personal information, so there is no retention period on our side and nothing for us to delete. Information held on your device is retained until you delete it. You are in full control at all times, and you can:

13. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 of India, and comparable legislation elsewhere. These typically include the right to access, correct, delete, port or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent.

We fully respect these rights. In practice, because we hold no personal information about you, a request for access, correction, portability or deletion will be answered by confirming that we hold nothing to disclose, amend or erase. We do not sell or share personal information within the meaning of the CCPA, and we do not process sensitive personal information. Where local law provides a right to complain to a supervisory authority, that right is unaffected. We respond to all requests within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires it.

14. International use and transfers

The App is available worldwide and processes your information on your own device, in whatever country you happen to be. Because no personal information is transmitted to us, there is no international transfer of your personal information by us. The Site is served by our hosting provider, and requests you make to third party data providers or websites travel to wherever those parties operate their services, in the ordinary way of the internet.
